A motorcyclist in London slams into a pedestrian as she walks out into the road.
GoPro footage captured on September 14 in Central London shows the moment a pedestrian appears from behind a stationary taxi on Blackfriars Road.
The biker was apparently returning home from work when the incident happened. "I glanced twice at both my mirrors to make sure no other motorcycle or cyclist was going to pass me," he said.
He added that he was cautious, and looked in all directions before heading forward.
"As I was filtering past a taxi a lady suddenly darted out from in front of the taxi with no prior warning or care," he added. "There was absolutely nothing I could do to stop in time."
"We were both very fortunate to have walked away from the accident with minor injuries. No broken/fractured bones or concussions occurred to my absolute relief."
