Periyar statue vandalised in Tamil Nadu; DMK President demands arrest of miscreants

In Tamil Nadu today, 2 incidents of vandalism of Periyar's statues were reported. Dravidian leader Periyar's statue was vandalised in Tamil Nadu's Tirupur while in Chennai footwear was hurled at the statue. Later one person was arrested in the case.
