A town named Uranus plans to start publishing a weekly newspaper.
A Missouri town named Uranus plans to start publishing a weekly newspaper. It will be called "The Uranus Examiner," reports the BBC. While many are no doubt quite amused by the title, a number of locals are not. According to KY3, Luge Hardman, the mayor of nearby Waynesville, notes that "the innuendo of the title" will cause "public ridicule." Based on the names of some local businesses, it appears that Uranus has no such image-related concerns. The Kansas City Star reports that attractions there include the Uranus Fudge Factory, The Uranus AxeHole, and Escape Uranus. Further, a website about the town, notes, "There's A Lot To Do In and Around Uranus." The first "Uranus Examiner" is expected to be published in late October.
