Watch Hurricane Florence
Make Landfall in the Carolinas Hurricane Florence continued
its path across southeastern
United States, pounding the Carolinas with powerful winds
and warnings of “life-threatening” storm surge
and rainfall. The storm made landfall in
North Carolina shortly after
7 a.m, according to the
National Hurricane Center. More than 400,000 are without power. While the storm may have
weakened to a Category 1, it
still packs a powerful punch. Hurricane Florence is expected to
continue to pummel parts of North
and South Carolina through Friday.
