This is the adorable flock of baby flamingos being hand-reared in Scotland and fed with a syringe - before their distinctive pink colouring develops. The nine tiny chicks, which were hatched from a flock at Chester Zoo, eat a liquid diet every two hours - fed to them with a syringe. Creating a new flock of Chilean flamingos is said to be "virtually unheard of".
