According to Reuters, oil prices are rising after US sanctions tightened Iranian crude exports, limiting global supply.
The Trump administration announced the sanctions against Iran during the Spring, and will be fully imposed by November.
But the risk premium for crude oil traders has increased, and the scheduled sanctions deadline looms only two months away.
