Panki is a traditional snack recipe made by applying gram flour on a banana leaf. Chef Nupur Sampat gives it her own twist. Do try her version of Panki at home and share your feedback in the comments below.
Ingredients:
1 ½ cup Corn
½ cup Peas, steamed
1 Green Chilli
Water as required
½ cup Gram Flour
4 tbsp Semolina
3 tbsp Carrots, steamed
½ cup Coriander
Salt to taste
Banana Leaf
Method of preparation:
In a mixer jar add corn, peas, green chilli, water and grind it.
Add gram flour, semolina, carrots, coriander, salt, water and mix well. Our Panki base is ready.
Grease the banana leaf, fill in the panki base and cover it with another leaf.
Heat a pan, place the panki on it and cook on low flame.
Turn it when you see brown spots on it.
Our Panki is ready to serve.
