Dar ul Sukoon - facing an energy and funds crisis

2018-09-09 30

Dar-ul-Sukun Karachi Pakistan-An abode for physically and mentally challenged children and adults, both men and women.

This facility is now facing serious challenges due to hefty electricity bills by KE (Karachi Electric) and is unable to find a way out.

On an average KE is charging Dar ul Sukoon PKR 900k-1.4M every month whereas 2 months ago KE sent them a 1 month bill of PKR 2M.

Last month 2 orphans lost their lives due to the heat wave which has forced the institute to switch on the air-conditioning but they are surely unable to afford the monthly hefty electricity bills sent by KE.

This facility needs your help. It needs our help collectively and as citizens of Pakistan it is our prime responsibility to share this as much as possible so the concerned authorities can pay heed to plea.
