An infant gorilla at Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington DC was given a dog toy to help with his teething difficulties.

In a video shared on September 6, Moke, who was born in the zoo on April 15, 2018, is shown gnawing on the Nylabone provided to him to help with the discomfort of his emerging teeth.

His mother, Calaya, who recently celebrated her 16th birthday, also has some fun with the dog toy by taking it off Moke, placing it in her mouth, and shaking it back and forth. Credit: Smithsonian’s National Zoo via Storyful
