Police released CCTV footage on September 7 as they sought the public’s help to identify four men suspected of involvement in an attempted murder in a suburb of Canberra, Australia, late on June 28.

Police said four men entered the backyard of a house in Calwell and set fire to three vehicles before firing shots into the house through the rear glass doors.

The resident suffered a gunshot wound to his hand and a stray bullet went into a neighbour’s home, narrowly missing a sleeping resident, police said.

In this footage, individuals are seen entering the premises with firearms, pouring liquid on the ground around the vehicles and in the backyard, before firing shots into the house. They are then seen running away as the ground and vehicles are set alight. Credit: ACT Police via Storyful
