This was the dramatic moment a group of spectators fell to the ground after the parapet of a roof collapsed.
The incident occurred at a village in Pauri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand, India.
A large crowd had gathered to celebrate the two-day Nanda Mela in Jaspur village on September 5.
On the concluding day, hundreds had assembled to watch a popular local sport where young men climb a slippery pole while being drenched with water.
Suddenly, the parapet of a roof on which a large number of people were standing caved in, unable to bear their load.
The group was all lucky as they escaped with relatively light injuries.
A few injured were taken to a nearby primary health centre and discharged after first aid.
An eyewitness Rakesh Singh Tayal, 39, said: “There were no serious injuries as the crowd below cushioned their fall. The fair continued after the mishap.”
