At least 14 people have died so far in Hokkaido, Japan.... where a powerful 6-point-7 magnitude earthquake hit Thursday.
Twenty-six people are missing and over 3-hundred are injured.
And with rain in the forecast,... there could be more damage in areas where the ground has been weakened.
Power has been restored to 40 percent of the households on Hokkaido after the earthquake knocked out electricity to the whole island.
But it could take at least a week to fully restore power to all households, and even the local airport has closed.
The South Korean Ministry of Foreign affairs is taking care of South Korean nationals stranded in the area by providing food
and shelter.
And starting from today, the ministry willl try to get them home safely.
