Cracks Appear in Roads in Sapporo Following Hokkaido Earthquake

A powerful magnitude-6.7 earthquake rocked Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido on September 6, causing landslides and leading to several deaths.

The Japan Times said that at least nine people had died and 31 were missing.

The earthquake caused landslides, power outages, and disruptions to train services.

This video shows cracks along the road in Higashi-ku, Sapporo.
