Rights group comments on jailing of journalists in Myanmar

Human Rights Watch deputy Asia director, Phil Robertson, considers the verdict jailing two Reuters journalists for seven years in Myanmar is "clearly intended to intimidate other Burmese journalists". They were accused of breaching Myanmar's state secrets law while reporting on a massacre of Rohingya Muslims in a case that fuelled international outrage a week after the army was accused of genocide.
