Counter-protesters outnumbered English Defence League supporters at a rally in Worcester today (September 1).
More than 350 counter-protesters voiced their displeasure with EDL members, separated only by police, in tense scenes.
Around 150 EDL supporters are thought to have attended a rally. The far-right group took to the streets for the second time in recent weeks to protest against plans to build a new mosque in the city and against Asian grooming gangs.
Video shows police forming a barrier between EDL supporters and counter-protesters, consisting of students, trade union members and local councilors.
Two people were arrested, according to local media.
