This is the moment police drag a woman out of the sea in Bournemouth in an early-morning rescue.
Footage filmed on Friday morning (August 31) shows police helping the spluttering and coughing woman onto a beach.
The woman "ran into the sea" near the Dorset town's iconic pier, according to eyewitnesses.
A spokesman for Dorset police said: "We received a call at 5.09am today, Friday 31 August 2018, reporting a concern for the welfare of a woman in the sea near to Bournemouth Pier.
"Officers attended and took the woman to a place of safety, where she was given appropriate care."
