Next month President Moon himself is due in Pyongyang for a third summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Speaking Sunday with the newly elected leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, Lee Hae-chan, the President confirmed that he wants to bring lawmakers from the ruling party and others with him.
He said he's now working on ways to make it happen.
President Moon also asked Lee for multi-party support for his administration's drive to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula,... to which Lee responded by saying he hopes as many lawmakers as possible will be able to go to the North.
The ruling party chairman also expressed his hope that President Moon, while in Pyongyang, will actively work to improve relations between North Korea and the U.S.
