Pope Francis visited county Mayo in Ireland on August 26, where he greeted and blessed children and signed a Gaelic football jersey.
The pope also visited the holy site of Knock.
Later that day, thousands of people gathered at Phoenix Park in Dublin where the pope gave mass.
During his homily, the Pope asked for forgiveness for the abuses of the Catholic Church in Ireland.
