Business Insider reports the FBI is warning banks of a potential ATM security threat. The scheme is known as an "ATM cash-out," in which hackers use malware to access machines, lift controls and access large sums of money. They can also make fraudulent copies of cards by imprinting stolen card data on reusable magnetic strip cards. The FBI sent out an email Friday that quietly warned banks to be on the lookout.
