A YouTube star is said to have been involved in a fiery car crash which killed him and claimed the lives of two others on Thursday, notes KNSD.
KSWB is reporting that the popular online personality known as "McSkillet," whose real name was Trevor Heitmann, was "driving a 2014 McLaren [in] the wrong direction on Interstate 805...when he hit a Hyundai SUV traveling the opposite direction, sparking a crash that involved 8 cars and killed two other people."
The other fatalities have been identified as 43-year-old Aileen Pizarro and her 12-year-old daughter, Aryana Pizarro.
Speed was likely a factor in the severity of the head-on collision, with California Highway Patrol Officer Jake Sanchez saying, "At the time of the crash, he could have been going over 100 mph. The McLaren is one of the fastest cars in the world."
At this time, it is unknown what caused the 18-year-old to drive the wrong way.
