Good morning, Mark. Right now the typhoon is right near the southwest of Seogwipo in Jeju Island. It's been dumping heavy showers on the island since Wednesday afternoon, Hallasan mountain receiving the heaviest showers.
The typhoon is slowly moving in a northeasterly direction...after dropping more showers on Jeju, Jeollado Province will start to see downpours from this afternoon. It will hit Seoul by early Friday morning.
Typhoon warnings are in place for waters off Jeju, parts of south and west sea with a typhoon advisory in place for southern regions. The most significant damaging wind and torrential showers are expected along the coastal areas.
Jeju could possibly see 300 millimeters of more showers while Jeollado regions could see 400 millimeters...Seoul will start to see showers in the morning and will hit by the heaviest before sunrise on Friday.
Temperatures will go down a few notches with highs ranging from 28 to 32 degrees Celsius.
That's all for now, stay safe...back to you Mark in the studio.
