Post Malone’s private plane is in the process of making an emergency landing after two of the vehicle’s tires allegedly blew out after takeoff, according to reports.
The “Better Now” rapper and his crew left from Teterboro Airport in New Jersey at 10:50 AM EST on Tuesday where they were headed across the pond to London. Law enforcement sources revealed that the pilot circled back around to perform an emergency landing after the tires blew off.
A Federal Aviation Administration source that spoke to the Associated Press said that the jet was diverted to Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport in Westfield, Massachusetts, where it will attempt to land.
Post performed at the 2018 Video Music Awards Monday night with 21 Savage and Aerosmith, where they closed out the show. Prior to that, he picked up the Song of the Year award for “Rockstar”.
Update: The plane carrying Post and 15 other passengers landed safely at New York Stewart Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
He broke his silence about the whole ordeal, where Post tweeted that some people actually wished for his death on Twitter. “i landed guys. thank you for your prayers,” he wrote. “can’t believe how many people wished death on me on this website. f**k you. but not today.”
