Two members and an associate of the Lone Wolf bikie gang were charged in Sydney’s south on Friday, August 17, in relation to their alleged roles in the shooting death of Mahmoud “Mick” Hawi.
On February 15, bikie kingpin Hawi was shot in broad daylight as he got into his car outside a gym in Rockdale. He was treated by paramedics and taken to St George hospital, where he later died.
Police established Strike Force Amirs to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crime and had uncovered a range of CCTV from the area to support their enquiries.
