Italy Threatens Heavy Fines Over Bridge Disaster

According to a report by Reuters, Italy's largest toll-road operator came under heavy attack in the stock markets on Thursday and the government said it could impose a heavy fine or revoke its concession after a bridge collapse that killed at least 38 people. Reuters reports that an 80 meter-long section of the bridge gave way on Tuesday in the middle of lunchtime traffic, sending dozens of vehicles into free-fall.
