Naagin (English: Female Serpent) is an Indian supernatural series[1] produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. It aired on weekends on Colors.[2][3]
The first season premiered on 1 November 2015.[4] It starred Mouni Roy,[5] Arjun Bijlani,[6] Adaa Khan,[7] and Sudha Chandran.[8] The season ended on 5 June 2016 after 62 episodes.[9] It became one of the highest rated shows on Indian television at that time.[10][11] It was replaced by Kavach... Kaali Shaktiyon Se.
The second season premiered on 8 October 2016.[12][13] It starred Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan, Karanvir Bohra, Sudha Chandran, Aashka Goradia, Kinshuk Mahajan.[8][14] The season ended on 25 June 2017 after 75 episodes and was replaced by Chandrakanta.[5][15]
The third season of Naagin premiered on 2 June 2018.[16][17] This season stars Surbhi Jyoti,[18] Anita Hassanandani,[18] Pearl V Puri[18] in lead roles, Amrapali Gupta[19][20] as main antagonist, Rakshanda Khan,[21] Chetan Hansraj,[21] Pavitra Punia,[22] Mithil Jain,[23] Charvi Saraf,[24][25] Rupesh Kataria,[26] Heli Daruwala,[27] Simran Sachdeva,[28] Rohit Choudhary,[29] Aman Gandhi,[30] Puneett Chouksey,[31] Naveen Sharma,[32] Ankit Mohan,[33] Kushabh Manghani,[34] Mahira Sharma,[35] Adhvik Mahajan[36] in prominent supporting roles, Karishma Tanna[18] and Rajat Tokas[37] in some special appearances. This season earned a 4.5 TRP rating and overall sixteen million impressions in its launch week
