A group of rescue chimpanzees at Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary displayed their impeccable table manners when they patiently waited at their enclosure fence while a keeper handed out snacks.
The chimpanzees, described as “teenagers” by the rescue in the video caption, can be heard in the video letting off the odd shriek of excitement but definitely displayed more self-control than a human environment when there’s free food available.
“Their head carer knows them all by name and makes sure they all get their fair share,” wrote Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The video had over 1,000 views at time of writing. Credit: Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary via Storyful
