We pit the Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC against the Nissan GT-R on track in a battle of the computers.
The 180bhp Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) has the most sophisticated electronic rider aid system of any current motorcycle, with eight-stage traction control, wheelie control and launch control.
The Nissan GTR is the four-wheeled equivalent with a 3.8 twin-turbo V6 producing 523bhp and some seriously advanced electronic driver aids, including launch control and electronic stability control.
MCN took these marvels of electronic and mechanical engineering to Blyton Park Raceway with a datalogger to find out how they feel when you push them around a track, how quickly they accelerate, brake and more importantly which is the fastest around a lap of the circuit?
