Student protests continued in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka on August 3 and 4 over the country’s road safety conditions.

The ongoing protests began after two students were killed by a bus in Dhaka on July 29. On Saturday, local media reported that clashes broke out between the protesters and pro-government groups, including members of the Bangladesh Chhatra League, a student organisation linked to the ruling Awami League party.
