Man's Arm Amputated From Dog Lick

The Huffington Post reports, "A Wisconsin man made international headlines this week after a dog lick led to a rare infection resulting in the amputation of part of his legs and arms." The mans name is Greg Manteufel. He is forty eight years old and was diagnosed with a blood infection. He got the infection from a bacteria called capnocytophaga canimorsus. It's found in dog and cat mouths. Medical experts believe he got the infection from his dog licking him.
