Ivanka Trump said that she doesn't see the media as, “the enemy of the people.”

Ivanka Trump said on Thursday that she doesn't see the media as "the enemy of the people."  During an appearance at an Axios event, she made the statement after it was mentioned that some members of her immediate family view the press as an adversary.  "No. I do not feel that the media is the enemy of the people," the first daughter stated.
"I've certainly received my fair share of reporting on me personally that I know not to be fully accurate, so I have some sensitivity around why people have concerns and gripe, especially when they sort of feel targeted," she also said.   Her outlook and tone are decidedly different than her father's. President Trump's tweets on the topic include, "Why was the FBI giving so much information to the Fake News Media. They are not supposed to be doing that, and knowing the enemy of the people Fake News, they put their own spin on it - truth doesn't matter to them!" and, "Much of our news media is indeed the enemy of the people."  He also recently stated, "The Summit with Russia was a great success, except with the real enemy of the people, the Fake News Media."
