Sarah Sanders on Wednesday weighed in on President Trump's grocery store comment.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Wednesday offered an explanation for President's Trump's puzzling assertion that people need picture IDs to buy groceries.  After a reporter noted that she's never experienced such a situation, Sanders said at a press briefing: "If you go to a grocery store and you buy beer and wine, you're certainly going to show your ID.… I'm pretty sure that everybody in here who's been to a grocery store and has purchased beer or wine has probably had to show their ID.  If they didn't, then that's probably a problem with the grocery store."   When Trump made the comment during his Tuesday night rally in Florida, he didn't mention alcohol, but he did bring up voting laws.  "If you go out and you want to buy groceries, you need a picture on a card, you need ID," Trump said. "The only time you don't need it in many cases is when you want to vote for a president, when you want to vote for a senator, when you want to vote for a governor or a congressman. It's crazy."
