सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इसी साल की शुरुआत में एससी-एसटी एक्ट के कुछ अहम प्रावधानों को ये कहते हुए निरस्त कर दिया था, कि उनका दुरुपयोग देखा गया है... जिसके बाद कई शहरों में दलित समुदायों ने प्रदर्शन भी किया था ... इसी बात को ध्यान में रखते ही मोदी सरकार ने एसटी एसटी बिल में संशोधन का फैसला किया है... जिसके लिए वो इस सदन में पेश करेगी।
