Aeromexico Flight 2431 crashed in a field just outside Guadalupe Victoria Airport (Durango International) in Durango, Mexico, on July 31, with 97 passengers and 4 crew aboard, according to local officials.
Jose Aispuro, governor of the state of Durango, confirmed in a tweet that no one was killed in the crash and that those injured were being cared for. Preliminary investigation said the crash was caused by “adverse weather conditions,” according to OMA Aeropuertos, the administrative company that operates Durango International Airport.
