Come Dine With Me 28 July 2018 in Southend-on-Sea (Ep 1-5) Part 1
Episode 1 ;
The competition hits Southend-on-Sea, where the first host is dog-mad executive PA Julie-Ann Rayner. Julie-Ann is a dinner party veteran and has high hopes that her 'taste of the sea' menu - with two fish courses - will have her guests hooked.
Episode 2 ;
On the second night in Southend-on-Sea, glamorous grandmother Carol Dolman bids for the prize. Carol is confident in the kitchen, and her menu includes scallops and roast lamb. Her entertainment includes tango lessons, with some flirty results, and she's got a few secrets to reveal to her guests.
Episode 3 ;
Science teacher and self-confessed geek Damian Loneragan hosts night three of the competition in Southend. On the menu are two chilli-based dishes, with a lemon and ginger dessert to follow, but Scott thinks Damian's main course is the worst thing he's eaten in his life.
Episode 4 ;
Barmaid and self-confessed airhead Steph Barrett hosts the penultimate night in Southend. Everyone goes all-out with their costumes for Steph's 1940s fancy dress code. The guests are bowled over by the authenticity of her 40s-styled home, but the biggest surprise of the evening is the quality of the food, which goes down a treat.
Episode 5 ;
International DJ and Jack-the-Lad Scott Langley hosts the last night in Southend-on-Sea. Scott's a pretty good cook and is soon flying ahead with his cooking. He's also planned something special for his entertainment, which he's sure will blow his guests away.
