The UK is legalizing medicinal cannabis from the autumn.
The announcement was made by Home Secretary Sajid Javid on Thursday after the government gave the green light to relax laws governing the substance.
Cannabis had been classified as a drug with no therapeutic value, but after a review, drug advisors and medical officials concluded that it does have benefits for some conditions.
The change in law comes after a desperate campaign by parents of children with severe epilepsy who had been denied Cannabis oil, which is known to control seizures.
