Buses and pedestrians battle through flood waters after heavy downpours turned a road into a raging river south of Manila.
The potentially deadly scene unfolded in the Philippines province of Cavite on July 22. The region was placed under a state of calamity because of heavy monsoon rains, storms and tropical depressions, which have swept across the country over the last two weeks.
The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Cavite province had been the worst affected in terms of the number of people displaced.
More than 8,000 people were being housed in evacuation centres.
