Police in South Africa say gunmen have killed 11 taxi drivers on their way back home from a colleague's funeral.
Police said the gunmen ambushed a minibus carrying members of a taxi drivers' association on Saturday between the towns of Colenso and Weenen in KwaZulu-Natal province.
Two drivers were said to have escaped without injuries.
Officials are tracking down the suspects and are investigating possible motives.
There have been cases of deadly violence in South Africa amongst rival cab driver groups vying for the same routes.
