At least 11 people were killed in a suicide bombing at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, on July 22.
The explosion occurred after Vice President Abdul Rashim Dostum had just returned to Afghanistan after a year of exile in Turkey. Dostum and his entourage were not injured by the blast, and Reuters reported he had left the airport via motorcade minutes before the explosion.
Interior Ministry Spokesman Najib Danish said that 11 people were killed in the blast and 13 others wounded, Ariana News reported.
