A tornado was spotted over Opelika, Alabama, on the evening of July 21. The tornado reportedly touched down near the city, causing some damage to mobile homes, trees and power lines, according to Lee County Emergency Management Agency.
National Weather Service radar also confirmed the tornado, according to WRBL. No injuries were reported at the time of writing.
A severe thunderstorm warning had been issued for the area until 6:30 pm.
