So, what is the difference between standard liposuction and hourglass liposuction? Let’s take a look.
At the onset, standard liposuction and hourglass liposuction have different aesthetic goals to achieve. The standard procedure aims to simply remove the stubborn fat pockets from different areas of the body. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. During the surgery, tumescent anesthesia is injected into the target area and a hollow tube called a cannula is inserted into the site.
