Roads were flooded as more than five inches of rain fell northeast of Flagstaff, Arizona, during a two-year rain event on July 18, according to azfamily.com.
The American Red Cross said, on July 18, that they had opened a shelter to support those affected by the flooding north of Flagstaff.
Flooding was exacerbated by the lack of mature vegetation in the area caused by the 2010 Schultz Fire, which scorched 15,000 acres of land, the Arizona Daily Sun said. Credit: Coconino County Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
