Overlord is an upcoming American action horror film directed by Julius Avery and written by Billy Ray and Mark L. Smith. The film stars Jovan Adepo, Jacob Anderson, Pilou Asbæk, Iain De Caestecker, John Magaro, Wyatt Russell and Bokeem Woodbine. J. J. Abrams serves as a producer through his Bad Robot Productions banner with Lindsey Weber. The plot follows several American soldiers who get stuck behind enemy lines after D-Day, only to discover secret Nazi experiments.
