The French national football team has received a heroes' reception as thousands gathered in Paris on Monday to welcome back the World Cup champions.
Fans dressed in red, white and blue gave rapturous cheers as the squad paraded down the Champs-Elysees in an open-top bus.
The champions were then welcomed at the Elysee Palace by President Emmanuel Macron, who was at the final in Moscow.
Macron had also promised to give the team France's highest accolade - the Legion of Honour.
Despite the jubilant atmosphere, some celebrations were marred by violence, causing police to use tear gas.
Meanwhile, runners-up Croatia were also given a heroe's welcome home, with thousands gathering in Zagreb.
