Both Pacquiao and Matthysse made weight - with the Filipino coming in at a trim 146lbs and his opponent 146.7lbs.
Ahead of this weekend's clash Pacquiao said he is still as hungry as ever, saying: "I am ready. Everything is under control. I am motivated, happy and hungry."
Meanwhile, Pacman's Argentinian counterpart said he is ready for the “battle” to defend his WBA welterweight title this weekend.
Matthysse told AFP: "I am feeling good. I made the weight, I'm ready to eat and I'm ready for the battle tomorrow."
Pacquiao, who hasn’t had a KO win since 2009 - when he stopped Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto - said he will be bringing back the Pacman of old.
The Filipino told the Inquirer: "Our plan is to move side-to-side, throw a lot of punches and of course, if given a chance, finish the fight early."
Pacquiao looks to win another world title late on Sunday while hoping to set up a mouthwatering match-up with WBO lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko in the future.
The 39-year-old claimed: “I’ve watched a couple of his fights. He’s fast. I like his style. Fighting him will be exciting.”
