India wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav is hoping for a Test call for the ongoing India-England series after his career-best 6/25 in the first ODI on Thursday.
Having already won a three-match Twenty20 series 2-1, India made a winning start to their three-match ODI series against England on Thursday.
Man of the match Kuldeep Yadav took six wickets for 25 runs - the best figures for a spinner in an ODI in England - and Rohit Sharma produced an unbeaten knock of 137 as India won by eight wickets.
Kuldeep said: "I think I didn't try anything new. I just stick to my basics and just bowled wicket to wicket and vary my pace and variations. And talk(ing) about Test cricket, so I'm actually hoping for the Test call and, let's see what happen(s) in a couple of days when they announce the Test team."
