Anthony Bourdain Posthumously Nominated for Emmy Award Anthony Bourdain has been nominated for an Emmy for his work on CNN's
Parts Unknown. The late celebrity chef, best-selling author and journalist's show was nominated for best informational series
or special. The show scored a total of six nominations, including cinematography, picture editing, sound editing, sound mixing and writing. CNN.com's Anthony Bourdain: Explore Parts Unknown also scored a nomination for best short-form nonfiction or reality series. Bourdain passed away on June 8 in France while filming an episode of
his show. His death has since been ruled a suicide. He was 61 years old.
