Tom Cruise says Val Kilmer is "doing really well" after overcoming a two-year battle with throat cancer.
The 'Top Gun' actor has given fans an update on his 57-year-old co-star's health following his treatment for the illness, which he overcame in 2017.
Asked how his friend is getting on, the Hollywood star told Extra: "He's doing really well."
While Tom still can't quite believe they're making a follow-up to the adrenaline-fuelled blockbuster, he did admit that it was great to be working with Val again.
He added: "It was very special for me."
