A crowd gathered on July 11 in Peshawar, Pakistan, at the funeral for Haroon Bashir Bilour, a politician killed in a suicide blast the day before.
Bilour was a leader of the Awami National Party (ANP) and running for a seat in the provincial legislature. His father, also a politician with ANP, was killed in a suicide attack in 2012.
National elections in Pakistan are scheduled for July 25, but the election commission said it was now postponing voting in the district in which Bilour was a candidate.
