Nevada's Martin Fire Burns Through 375,000 Acres

Northern Nevada’s Martin Fire grew to more than 375,000 acres with 8 percent containment on July 9 as it moved across the state.

The fire began on July 5 near Paradise Valley, Nevada, and was reported moving into Elko County, Nevada.

No houses or buildings have been lost, and no evacuations have been issued, according to KOH.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
