President Donald Trump wants the U.S. to have “dominance in space.” He wants to end threats on America’s reliance on space technologies for defense and commerce. To do so he wants to create a specific branch in the military in charge of those threats. According to BuzzFeed, other people think a U.S. Space Guard would be a better strategy. They think a Guard can enforce laws and regulations to manage a civilian space economy.
